Adam has a wide array of experiences in voice work, including:

  • worked as a DJ (programmer/announcer) with a weekly, independent show ("Post '69," featuring the best jazz of the last 35 years, a highly popular show) on public radio, KMHD, the jazz station, serving Portland, Oregon (89.1 FM, streaming on the web) -- Post '69 aired every Monday from 2-6pm Pacific time
  • 3 years of weekly, private training in vocal production, 1.5 years specifically in jazz singing with the great Seattle singer, Kelley Johnson
  • created, founded, produced, and hosted the highly successful Bellingham Slam in Bellingham, Washington in 1998
  • more than twenty years of stage acting and performance, most recently, shows and festivals in the Northwest from Portland to Vancouver, BC, featured in the 1998 Seattle Poetry Festival and the 1998 National Poetry Slam in Austin, Texas, several stage productions by Theater Three in Bellingham, and the 2000 St. Petersburg Times Festival of Reading in St. Petersburg, Florida
  • speaking several languages, including Mandarin Chinese (most advanced of all); private tutoring of ESL (English as a second language) to Taiwanese adults; academic lecturing in a variety of contexts
  • spearheaded facilitation in South Seattle on behalf of Sustainable Seattle, for the purpose of community organizing between neighborhood councils, chambers of commerce, cultural organizations, etc.
  • training in voiceovers for radio and television commercial work
